I sure have missed you. I really have. This semester was my first time taking a full load of nothing but business classes. It was so exciting to take my first marketing class and realize that I love marketing. It is so easy to second guess yourself in college, but I have been filled with peace that this is exactly where God wants me to be. I am so grateful for that peace.
With these exciting classes came an exhausted Peytyn. I had 23 exams this semester. My nerves were constantly high. It seemed like I was constantly waiting on a grade or studying for the next exam. I love school, I loved my classes, but dang I was tired. Blogging took a backseat. I missed it so much, but you really can’t do it all. That’s a hard pill for me to swallow, because I genuinely love to do it all. I weirdly love being busy, and crossing things off the to-do list. But still, I can’t do it all.
I’ve received some pretty sweet messages in my absence. It means the world to me that you’ve missed reading my posts. I’ve missed writing them! Some people have asked if I’m quitting blogging. Nope! I love it, and as long as I love blogging I will continue to do it. I started blogging when I really needed a healthy outlet to pour into. It was something I so needed then, and I honestly still need now. It can be a form of self-care for me, and as long as that continues I will continue. If you’ve considered starting a blog, do it! Dive in head first, or dip your foot in the water and see if you like it. It might just be the thing you have been missing.
Summer break is really giving me the opportunity to get back to blogging. I feel like I’m 17 and I just started blogging again. This feels so familiar, but so brand new too. I love you guys, I’m so thrilled to be back at it!
