The holiday season is quickly approaching, and I don’t think I’ve ever been more excited for its arrival! The past few weeks of studying and missing my family have been killer, and I’m just ready to come home for the holidays.
One of the sweetest parts of coming home is going to all the places you loved growing up, and the opportunity to shop local. The cutest boutique opened up when I was in high school, called My Kind of Lovely. They recently opened a second location close to my hometown in Knoxville, Tennessee. They also have a gorgeous website that I love for shopping their store when I’m away at college! I stopped in their shop when I was home for Thanksgiving and picked up the perfect holiday dress.
What I love about this dress is it’s so transitional. You can wear it alone when it’s warmer, pair it with a turtleneck or blouse underneath in the fall, and pair it with a chunky cardigan and tights in the winter. It’s so cute with booties or OTK boots and it’s totally practical for Christmas dinner with your grandparents, or a Christmas party with all your besties. 
I’m also loving this super cute wrap necklace I picked up. It’s such a trendy essential, and it can be worn so many ways! I also grabbed one for my bestie girl as a gift, and she loves it!
