Small businesses play a big part in who I am and where I want to go. My dad’s parents owned a grocery store, and my mom’s mother owned a daycare. All 3 of them worked so hard to provide for their families and do good in the community. I like to think that my desire to serve businesses is in my blood, and that it was passed down from all of my grandparents.

Whatever the case, I know the importance of shopping throughout the year. I really want to encourage you to save some of your Black Friday dollars to support a business in your community on Small Business Saturday. Support your community, and have fun doing it!

Marina’s on the Square

This is my favorite restaurant in Murfreesboro. I love their caesar salad, spinach artichoke dip, and literally all of their pastas.

Just Love Coffee

They have several locations in Murfreesboro, but this one is my favorite, especially on a gloomy day. So cozy, yet great for productivity.

Burger Republic

The best. burgers. ever. No contest. Plus, they have Benton’s bacon on the burgers which is local to my hometown! Try The Tennessee with truffle fries…. and now I am hungry for a burger before 9 AM.

I love the aesthetic. They have the cutest clothes and they are really affordable too!
